2 Day Festival
In 2023 the festival ran for 2 days in Devonport across multiple locations. There were a range of activities including a trade exhibition, Try-a-trade sessions and White Ribbon Programs such as ‘You can Ask that’.
The event had over 800 students across multiple schools and over 50 businesses and organisations inspiring you people.
Gala Dinner
This year was a record-breaking dinner with the largest sit down meal held at the Paranapple Centre in Devonport. A range of guest speakers including The Govenor of Tasmania, shared inspiration and encouragement to the many attendees.
A packed house with over 80 table hosts and 400 students made this event a night to remember. Check out the photo’s below!
Masterclass
Each year we run some masterclasses with the support of amazing businesses and individuals. This year TasTAFE again hosted the Her Excellency the Honourable Barbara Baker AC, Governor of Tasmania The Premier of Tasmania, Jeremy Rockliff and dignitaries to Lunch. They enjoyed the Masterclass Hospitality with menu to table service all experienced by the students under the tutelage of Two leading Tasmanian Chefs.
Many hands go into showing students a full range of career support options or indeed see Hospitality, Tourism and Service as ideal careers. A group of students also got to go through the full menu preparation and production from leading Mexican specialist Chef, Author and Personality Rosa Cienfuegos.
